Tiera Foy Counselling
Talk it through with Tiera
Women who are doing 'all the right things', but who feel rundown, frazzled and who don't recognise this version of themselves anymore. I help women build sustainable plans for wellbeing, that focus on realistic, compassionate, and evidence-backed strategies.
I support my clients to make sense of themselves and their values so that they can commit to actions that better align with a sustainable life they actually want to live.
I approach therapeutic conversations as I would with anyone I love - with curiosity, humour, and compassion. I break down key strategies for emotional regulation and stress management into regular language and accessible strategies to reduce the load, not add another thing to your 'to-do' list.
Busy women who find it hard to combat perfectionism and rushing syndrome, so that they don't just have another to do list, but a new approach to wellbeing that is fair and accessible.
Professional counselling services for adults with Tiera Foy (MNZAC, MCouns, BEd, BA).
I provide counselling services to individuals in my Parnell and Papakura offices. I also work online. I am available to contract for companies looking for an EAP provider. I facilitate workshops on personal wellbeing, specifically for women who are needing support in balance and a sustainable approach to their mental health as part of a bigger picture. I provide wellbeing workshops for workplaces upon request, with a focus on systems for wellbeing and structures that ensure safety and management of psychosocial risk in the workplace. My areas of expertise include rainbow inclusive environments, and neuroaffirming accommodations. I consult on course design and development in schools and workplaces.
Working independently means that NZBW is a network where I hope to connect with other like-minded women who are curious, passionate, and love learning. I am looking forward to being inspired by others' stories, successes, and setbacks.
Referrals through NZBW receive access as a New Client to a package usually only available to returning clients. This is a 4 session package, which is an excellent introduction to the counselling process.
