The Passion Project
Twenty-plus years in corporate financial services, then I retrained as an SHA-qualified sexologist and ANZCAL-accredited coach. That mix is rare. I understand the professional world my clients live in, and I bring real qualifications to a subject most people were never taught properly. I'm an educator and coach, not a therapist. I don't do crisis or pathology. I work with capable, curious adults who are doing fine and want more. No shame, no jargon, no euphemism. Just honest information and the tools to use it. The sex education you didn't get. The passion you still can.
Sexologist | Sex Coach & Educator | Advocate for Female Pleasure I spent two decades in corporate financial services. Now I talk about orgasms for a living. I'm Rachel, founder of The Passion Project. Somewhere in my forties I worked out that almost none of us were ever taught anything real about pleasure, desire or intimacy. We learned algebra. We didn't learn this. So I retrained as a sexologist to fix that. I work with women, men and couples aged 35 to 60 who are doing okay but quietly wondering if their intimate life could be better. It can. This isn't therapy and it isn't crisis management. It's the good stuff you can keep growing into, at any age and any stage. Think smart, funny friend who happens to be a sexologist. Real words for real things. No shame, no euphemism, no lectures. Reclaim your pleasure. Reclaim your power.
1:1 Coaching. Private sessions for women, men or couples, tailored to where you are and where you want to go. The Pleasure Lab. Small-group workshops, one for women and one for men. Practical, warm and genuinely useful. Couples Coaching. For two people who are good together and want to feel the electricity again. Retreats. Immersive couples experiences, including our Rarotonga couples retreat. Keynote Speaking. My signature talk 'Reclaimed', for conferences, women's networking events and corporate audiences.
I spent twenty years in corporate rooms where I was often the only woman at the table, so I know exactly how much it matters to have other women in your corner. I joined to be part of that. To back other women building brave, ambitious businesses, and to be backed in return. My whole practice is about women reclaiming their confidence and their power, and this is a community that lives that out loud. I'm here to connect, contribute, and cheer you on. Come say hi.
Do you run a women's event, a conference, a team day or an offsite? I'd love to bring a talk to your people. My signature keynote 'Reclaimed' is about what happens when a woman finally decides that she matters. It's honest, funny, and not remotely what people expect from a talk about pleasure and confidence. NZ Businesswomen members get a no-obligation chat about bringing it to your audience, and a member rate if we go ahead. Get in touch.
The Pleasure Lab creates a remarkably safe, comfortable space to explore topics that are absolutely necessary for personal growth and intimacy. It left me reflecting deeply on things we don't talk about enough. Highly recommend! - A.S. I wish more people would be interested in getting information like this out in the open. Rachel makes it easy & comfortable to talk openly. - Paula The perfect mix of playfulness, cheek and humour, also surprisingly informative. - Philippa It felt deeply nourishing to step into a celebratory, educational, safe, and pleasure-focused space. Your generosity and sparkling zest really touched me. The conversations around toys, play and explosive orgasms continue. You are such an inspiration. - Morgan G. Rachel creates a space that feels safe yet inspiring. Her approach is both fun and deeply insightful — she knows how to push you without making you feel overwhelmed. I can't recommend her highly enough. - Scott B.
Things are busy, in the best way. I regularly write articles on pleasure, desire and intimacy for the likes of NZ Herald, Woman's Weekly, Capsule NZ and Woman's Day. Turns out New Zealand is more than ready to talk about this stuff. My Pleasure Lab workshops are running through the year, small-group sessions that are equal parts honest, useful and genuinely fun. I've also got a couples retreat in Rotorua coming up in September 2026, an immersive weekend for two people who are good together and want to feel the spark again. And the one I'm most excited about: I'm locking in 2027 dates for my Rarotonga couples retreat. Sun, ocean and a whole lot of reconnection. Watch this space.
