Empire Studios Auckland is a vibrant dance and creative hub in Grey Lynn, Auckland, built to inspire confidence, connection and self expression through dance, movement and community, both inside the studio and into everyday life.Founded by Claire Baxter-Cardy, and lead by mother-daughter team Claire & Jaymie, Empire Studios is a purpose built dance studio and creative venue for the performing arts industry, also offering studio and venue hire for workshops, rehearsals, events and creative projects.
Empire is a space where women reconnect with themselves, adults rediscover joy and confidence through movement, young people build resilience and belonging, and active agers come together to connect and dance simply for the love of it.
At its heart, Empire is more than a studio, it’s a welcoming community where people of all ages feel empowered, supported and inspired to grow.

I joined NZ Business Women because I genuinely value the power of women supporting women through business, leadership and community.As both a creative and business owner, I’m passionate about building authentic connections with like minded women who are creating meaningful impact in their industries and communities.
