My point of difference
My point of difference is that I bring professional actor training into the world of communication and leadership. As a professional actor, director, and founder of Actors Studio Elena Stejko, I use practical techniques from the Michael Chekhov acting method to help people develop authentic presence, confidence, and clarity when they communicate. Unlike traditional communication training that focuses mainly on theory, my approach is experiential and embodied. Participants learn through practical exercises that help them become more aware of their voice, body language, emotional intelligence, and the energy they bring into a room. This work allows people to speak with greater confidence, connect more effectively with others, and stay calm and focused under pressure. My workshops create a supportive, playful, and engaging environment, where individuals and teams can develop stronger communication skills while also discovering new levels of creativity and personal confidence.

I’m Elena Stejko, founder of Actors Studio Elena Stejko, a professional acting school established in 2008 in New Zealand. At our studio, we specialise in the Michael Chekhov acting technique, helping actors of all levels develop confidence, presence, creativity, and acting skills. Beyond stage and screen, I also run short workshops for corporate teams, focusing on public speaking, clear communication, team alignment, and personal development — practical tools that improve confidence, collaboration, and effectiveness in any professional setting. Actors Studio Elena Stejko continues to expand its work in both the creative and professional sectors. Alongside ongoing acting classes and workshops based on the Michael Chekhov technique, I am currently developing a new series of communication and presence workshops for the corporate sector. These sessions are designed to help professionals build confidence when speaking, communicate with clarity, and bring a strong, authentic presence to meetings and presentations. I have recently begun connecting with local business networks and organisations to introduce these practical communication tools to professionals across different industries. At the same time, the studio continues to offer acting training, audition preparation, and short film classes, creating opportunities for actors to develop their craft and gain on-camera experience.
