Bella Marotta - Boost Brokers

I work with everyday New Zealanders across every stage of the property journey, from first home buyers to those purchasing an investment property, renovating, building, or taking on development lending. A lot of my clients are in their late 20s and 30s, in a strong position on paper, but haven't had anyone show them how to actually use that position to get into the market.
Having a good income and a clean credit history doesn't automatically mean you know how to structure a mortgage, pay it off faster, or use your position to your advantage. I help clients understand the why behind their options, not just the what, so they can make informed decisions rather than just following the bank's lead. That means structuring their lending in a way that actually suits them, building in strategies to pay it down faster, and making sure that when the right property comes up, they're ready to move rather than scrambling to figure out the basics.
I'm not interested in a transactional, call-centre style process. I take the time to understand where someone's at and build a plan around their goals, not just their application. I hold a Bachelor of Business majoring in financial planning and advice along with Level 5 certificates across investments, mortgages, risk insurance and general insurance, and I'm currently studying toward becoming a certified financial planner. Four years in, I work best with people who are already doing the right things financially and just need the right guidance to make their next move.
I'm a financial adviser based in Northland, working with clients across New Zealand on their mortgage and lending needs. I work predominantly with young professionals in their late 20s and 30s who are in a strong financial position, good income, minimal debt, but haven't yet had anyone show them how to use that position to get ahead. I'm self-employed, contracting to Boost Brokers, and I hold a Bachelor of Business majoring in financial planning and advice along with Level 5 certificates across investments, mortgages, risk insurance and general insurance. I'm currently studying toward becoming a certified financial planner, and I'm in my fourth year in the industry.
