Discover Your Strength

I work mostly with clients who are going through medical weight management, as a lifestyle and exercise consultant/coach. My other special interest area is clients who struggle with hypermobility disorders, meaning exercise needs to be prescribed with care for these conditions.
Bridging the gap between what clients see online about how to navigate fitness & nutrition during their weight management journey. There is a lot of noise out there, and I provide a compassionate and evidence-based solution.
Coaching with kindness. I often work with folks who have complex health conditions and haven't felt comfortable, or even welcome, in a commercial gym setting. I help people move from cautious to confident.
People either on or exploring a GLP-1 medication prescription and women who suffer from hEDS or other hypermobility syndromes.
Hi, I’m Coach Ange – a qualified fitness and master health coach based in Christchurch. As a mother of two, an avid runner, and someone who loves good food (and a great glass of wine), I understand the real-life juggle of health, energy, and finding time for yourself. I specialise in helping women feel strong, supported, and in control of their health—whether you're returning to exercise, training for a goal, or simply want to feel better in your body again. You don’t need another generic plan or restrictive diet. You need someone who listens, adapts, and meets you where you’re at. That’s my superpower.

Strong women lift each other up, so I am part of NZBW to lift and be lifted by other women in business. I learn so much from the other members, and I hope that, from time to time, they get to learn something from me as well.
Elise Hartley - Highly recommend!! The most welcoming environment where you can completely be yourself. I also really like being trained by someone who cares about your entire health, and doesn’t just chuck you under the bar because you want to get strong! I am impatient and always take it too far and end up getting injured or making minimal progress. Ange took me right back to basics, and I am now learning to get strong again with the correct foundations. I am so excited to keep working with her. I’ve worked with many trainers and have never felt so considered and listened to. 10/10. Sel Leigh - Ange isn't just a bright, bubbly personality. She's highly knowledgeable and has the expertise to identify individual needs - something a lot of trainers miss in my experience. I'm the person who was always injuring myself. Years of injuries, often made worse by coaches telling me to "push through". Coaches who never thought that there was another reason for the difficulties I had with movement. You don't get the bullshit with Ange. She can tell immediately when things aren't feeling right for me - often before I've realised it myself. I've got hidden disabilities, but they're not hidden from Ange's keen eye - and thanks to her, my strength is increasing and more importantly, so is my confidence. Kylie Collins - Ange is absolutely amazing. I've never been one to enjoy exercise, or feel comfortable joining a class or a gym, or having a PT, so when I signed up to give it a go in Ange's Semi-Personal Training class, I really wasn't sure what I was doing, or if I'd even make it (or return). Honestly, I am so glad I jumped in and gave it a shot! Ange makes you feel so welcome and like you're an old mate from years back. The programme is suited directly to me, with what I need, and she encourages and pushes me to do my best, knowing when I need a heavier weight, and is fab at going over instructions so I am completely comfortable with what I am doing too. I never thought I would find my place in a group class, or any exercise class for that matter, but now I thoroughly look forward to my weekly sessions, and it has become the best 'Me Time' I could give myself! Thanks so much, Ange. You're truly a star! 🌟
