It's about having a backup plan that stacks up at claim time.
Insurance matters most when life doesn't go to plan.

I help individuals, couples and families understand their risks, make informed decisions and protect what matters most. I also work with business owners to help protect the people and businesses they’ve worked hard to build.
Insurance can be confusing, and it is easy to put off until something goes wrong. I help people understand what risks they face, what protection they may need and how their insurance can support them if illness, injury, disability or loss affects their income or family. I also help clients review existing cover as their circumstances change.
My point of difference comes from experiencing first-hand what insurance means when life doesn't go to plan. I've worked in the insurance industry since I was 19, so I have spent many years learning about insurance, how policies work and how to help people put the right protection in place. But some of my most important lessons have come from my own family. When my father suffered a stroke at 58, insurance stopped being something I simply understood professionally and became something I experienced personally. I saw the impact that an unexpected health event can have on a family, their finances, their plans and their day-to-day lives. I also experienced the claims process from the other side - as a family member trying to navigate what happens when something you never expected actually happens. That experience changed the way I think about my role as an adviser. I don't want to simply help someone put a policy in place and then leave them to figure things out when they need it. I want my clients to know that there is someone they can call when things get difficult. For me, the real value of an adviser is often seen at claim time. I help clients navigate the process, communicate with insurers, understand what is happening and work through the practical steps involved. I know that when someone is dealing with illness, injury or loss, the last thing they need is to feel like they are navigating the insurance process alone. I also believe in making insurance easier to understand. I don't believe in selling people something just because I can. I believe in listening, explaining the options honestly and helping people make informed decisions about protecting their income, health, family and future. My experience has given me both the professional knowledge and the personal perspective to understand why this work matters. I don't just advise on insurance - I understand what it means to need it.
Younger couples, families and professionals who are building their financial future and want guidance around protecting their income, health and lifestyle. I also work with business owners who want to protect their business, key people and ownership structure.
• Clear, plain-English explanations • Advice tailored to your circumstances • Access to a range of insurance providers • Help reviewing and updating existing cover • Support throughout the application process • A trusted adviser to help you navigate claims
• Not knowing whether their insurance is enough when life changes • Having cover that no longer matches their income, debts or family situation • Being overwhelmed by insurance jargon and policy options • Discovering gaps in their protection too late • Having to navigate a claim alone during an already difficult time • Putting off important conversations about protecting their future
At New Vision Financial Services, we believe insurance is about more than having a policy — it's about having confidence that you and the people who matter to you are protected if life doesn't go to plan. As a Financial Adviser, I take the time to understand each client's circumstances, explain their options in plain English and help them make informed decisions about their protection. I work with individuals, couples, families and business owners across New Zealand, helping them protect their income, health, lifestyle and businesses. The relationship doesn't stop once a policy is in place. I believe one of the most important parts of my role is being there when clients need to make a claim, helping them understand the process, communicating with the insurer and providing support during what can be a very difficult time.
As an Insurance Adviser, I work with a wide range of New Zealand insurers to help individuals, families and business owners find protection that suits their circumstances. I specialise in personal insurance including Life, Trauma, Income Protection and Health Insurance. My focus is helping people protect what is often their most valuable asset — their ability to earn an income and maintain their lifestyle. For business owners, I also provide advice around employee group insurance schemes and business protection, including Debt Protection, Key Person Cover and Shareholder Protection. My role is to make insurance easier to understand, help clients make informed decisions and be there to support them when they need their cover.
I joined NZ Businesswomen because I wanted to connect with women outside my own industry, learn from different perspectives and build genuine business relationships. The network has helped me grow my confidence, believe in myself and step outside my comfort zone. I enjoy meeting women who are passionate about what they do and hearing the stories behind their businesses. For me, networking isn't just about referrals. It's about building relationships, supporting each other and finding ways we can help one another grow. I'm also enjoying the opportunity to contribute to the group and be part of a community of women in business.

Not sure where to start? Let's have a conversation. You don't need to know what insurance you need before you talk to me - we can start by looking at your situation, what's important to you and where you may need protection.
I'm happy to have a no-obligation conversation with any NZBW member who has questions about their existing insurance, is unsure where to start, or simply wants to understand what their current cover actually does. You don't need to be looking to buy anything - I'm always happy to help make insurance a little easier to understand.
