Dunkirk Road Activity Centre is an inclusive hub providing opportunities for community and whanau to connect, learn and grow.We are an Incorporated Society with a governance Board and have been operating since 1978.
Products and services I offer
We have a great smaller meeting room (capacity 20 people) with kitchenette, whiteboard, projector and sound bar. Its an ideal space for smaller team meetings, staff training, private one on one sessions for businesses or community groups.Our hall (capacity 100) comes with a full kitchen and is great for larger groups, functions, or where space is required
We offer a range of activities and groups to the community, including School Holiday Programmes, craft groups, exercise classes and special interest groups, AA and we host other orgainsations such as Probus and Gardening Clubs.
Why I'm in the NZ Businesswomen
I have joined NZBW so I can increase my business skills and make new connections, potentially increasing and developing my business. I am enjoying learning about the other members and connecting with a supportive community of positive business women.Why I continue as a NZBW member could be a more important question. I have been able to meet business women who have enhanced our Centre, from our new logo and website, to business development workshops on offer at the Centre and everything in between!

On 17 June 2025 I attended a first aid course at Dunkirk Road Activity Centre with two of my colleagues.
It was a great day, very informative and the tutor was very engaging.
The icing on the cake was the lovely lunch provided by the centre.
