Can you describe your business in one or two sentences?
Coach, speaker, author, facilitator, creator of the Elevate and Thrive Coaching Programme’s, and Well-being and Support Mastermind Groups.
I offer one to one, and group coaching. An optimist, and change catalyst, I help smart, busy, women who are ready to make change in their life, to progress forward and create the lifestyle they really desire.
What drove you to start your business/get involved in this industry?
A Certified Martha Beck Life Coach, I am devoted to empowering women and helping them to transform their lives. With experience and knowledge in the areas of leadership, resilience, and managing change, I show motivated women who are looking for more well-being, and more work/life balance to create the life they really want.
What do you love about running your business?
I moved from a career in Teaching and Education to grow my own coaching business. I wanted to create a lifestyle with a focus on well-being, work/life balance and meaningful work that I love.
I worked with a coach to make the changes in my life and now as a certified coach I love that I can help other women create the lifestyle they desire.
What have been some of your biggest challenges?
My greatest challenges were to overcome isolation through working alone, and overcoming self doubt. My involvement in NZ Businesswomen has been vital in support and to my overcoming these challenges.
What is your biggest ambition?
My ambition is to continue to grow my business both in workshops, one to one coaching and increasing the number of Mastermind coaching groups so I can support more women on their way to making life the way they want it.
What does success look like to you?
To keep the balance between meaningful work and growing my business and having a lifestyle where there is time to enjoy well-being and a lifestyle I enjoy.
If you had to walk away from the company tomorrow, what would you be most proud of?
I am happy with helping the women I have supported and helped to progress toward creating their best life.
Who inspires you and why?
Most of the women I work with and meet in NZ Businesswomen are inspirational in their own way, as they seek to grow their business and live life on their terms.
What growth have you experienced being in New Zealand Businesswomen?
NZ Businesswomen has helped me grow my business through the referrals I have received, the collegiality and knowledge shared by the many fantastic business women involved, and opportunities provided to share my won knowledge and skills within the network both as a member, regional manager, and training suite coach.
What’s your favourite pastime when you are not working?
I enjoy learning and writing and when I’m not working you will find me enjoying the outdoors, playing tennis or golf, or spending time with family and friends.
