Can you describe your business in one or two sentences?

I work with women in business who are tired of feeling overwhelmed, stretched and responsible for everything, and help them reconnect with their clever and resourceful selves. There’s usually a lot going on – from past stories, future worries, professional challenges, relationship mis-communication and any of life’s surprises that you are navigating. Together, we calm the chaos, clear the conflict, and make room for the confidence, clarity and strategy that helps you move forward. I do this through 1:1 consults, or group workshops.

What drove you to start your business/get involved in this industry?

I was training a team on how to sell and quickly noticed a pattern of behaviour. The moment they faced rejection, criticism, or fear, they shut down and wanted to give up. They wanted  overnight results but weren’t prepared to put in the work success required. This mismatch caused frustration and negativity, and it became clear that without a shift in mindset, they would stay stuck.
Around the same time, my family was navigating a serious illness, and nothing was working. That was when I discovered the transformative methods I use today and everything changed. I cleared the never-ending emotional rollercoaster, and gained the clarity and belief in myself to turn our backs on a system that wasn’t working. To have that level of certainty was life-changing, and I knew I had to share it with others.

What do you love about running your business?

My fascination with human behaviour has always been a guide. After navigating my own challenges, and realising I was trying to solve them with outdated tools, I discovered that mindset was the missing piece so many women were overlooking. When people started asking how I stayed so balanced through life’s big moments, I knew it was time to share what really works, and help others upgrade their thinking so they could upgrade everything else. It simply felt like the next right thing.

What have been some of your biggest challenges?

Like anyone, I’ve had my share of challenges – both personal and professional. Finding my way to the work I do now and have done for the last 17 years was a journey in itself. One of the ongoing challenges is helping people realise that mindset isn’t just about meditation or mantras, it’s a core strategy that supports everything. I sometimes feel like a broken record reminding people not to wait for a crisis before investing in themselves, because real growth is hiding inside the challenges they’re avoiding. And yes, I can get very enthusiastic about the science of transformation, which can be a bit much if you’re not ready for it or just want to sit in your ‘stuff’ longer!

What is your biggest ambition?

My biggest ambition is to bring more soul into business. I want to be the not-so-secret ingredient behind powerful women and purpose-led organisations, helping them stop doing life on autopilot and overwhelm, and start leading with intention. For me, it’s about creating a world where mindset isn’t an afterthought but a foundational business strategy at every level of organisation, from families to corporations.

What does success look like to you?

Success is growing alongside clients who are brave enough to say yes to more – more clarity, more ownership and more impact. It’s when someone faces a challenge and pauses to use the tools they’ve learned, they’re seeing life through a new lens, not the old filters of the past. They are moving into possibility and playing the game of life with a rule book that actually works. That shift in perspective is the real win.

If you had to walk away from the company tomorrow, what would you be most proud of?

The life-changing knowledge I have learned in the last 17+ years goes with me. I’ve applied something that works when you work it, and I don’t shy away from the deeper conversations that challenge people to see both sides. I’ve learned from the founder of an advanced model which will be the future of psychology. And I’m most proud of the meaningful impact made in clients’ lives, through building a business in an area that people are still grasping the importance of.

Who inspires you and why?

I have many people, my current mentor Dr Demartini is one, because his work is inspiring  in the results that can be achieved. My first inspiration was Lady Penelope and Virgil from the Thunderbirds when I was six.  Don’t judge!  To this day I am inspired by women who think big and take action towards what they want. Most people are looking at someone’s results and envy those, but when you delve into the story of how their empires were created, they were determined, gutsy and held onto their vision no matter what. They were juggling way before it was the norm! Sir Edmund Hilary’s book Nothing Ventured Nothing Gained was an inspirational read when I was fourteen.

What growth have you experienced being in New Zealand Businesswomen?

Being part of the NZ Businesswomen community has been incredibly rewarding, both personally and professionally. Through its networking, collaboration, and leadership opportunities, I’ve been able to grow alongside an amazing and supportive group of women, who understand the challenges of balancing multiple roles. NZ Businesswomen is more than just networking. It’s a space where business is built through meaningful connections, a powerful peer group and collaboration. This lays the foundations for building personal and professional success.

What’s your favourite pastime when you are not working?

I’m in a kind of love-hate relationship with exercise, ( love it more after than before.) I enjoy traveling, often for learning and inspiration. I’m now a grandmother and delighting in getting to know the newest little members of our family. I also love catching up with friends, exploring my interior design obsession, and squeezing in the occasional game of golf. (More emphasis on the occasional unfortunately!)  I constantly have podcasts and audiobooks in my car. My Thermomix is my go-to kitchen aid and helps me be a little more fearless in the kitchen. I’m also studying for a qualification upgrade. So life’s full at the moment.
